Whenever you create a new page in any of your OneNote notebooks, a date and time stamp is automatically added to the page. However, there may be times when you also want to insert the current date and time in your notes, for example, to mark text or track chronological events, such as a log of phone calls or entries in a blog or journal.

You can manually type the current date and time in OneNote for the web, but if you want to add date and time stamps with quick keyboard shortcuts, you can use the OneNote desktop app on your Windows PC or on your Mac. For more information, see either of the following:
